The East African Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture held a stakeholder workshop on “Reinforcing the capacities of East Africa to identify, develop and promote PPPs for infrastructure” at the Mombasa Beach Hotel, Mombasa, Kenya, on 9th and 10th August 2012.

The workshop was organized as part of a project supported by the ACP Business Climate Facility (BizClim), a programme of the ACP Secretariat funded by the European Union.

Representatives of key stakeholder organizations in both public and private sectors attended this event to initiate dialogue on this important issue for regional development and was the vehicle for the formal launch of the PPP Project Advisory Unit Network, anchored within the Chamber of Commerce system across East Africa.
